Revell 1/24 67 Camaro ZL-1

I have not built cars in many, many years.  Then I came across some muscle car kits of my youth and something about the vintage box art rekindled a need to make model.  This model was the 2nd car kit I built during this rekindled desire to go crazy on car kits.  The 1st kit I built was the 1970 Balwin Camaro also pictured in this web site.  This 67 Camaro is probably my favorite muscle car from the 60-70's Detroit muscle car era.  Get a glossy paint job to match a showroom finish is the toughest part of completing a good car model.  it takes lots of layers of paint followed by wet sanding followed by more paint followed by more wet sanding.  This is followed by clear coats waxing and buffing.  even after all that there is no guarantee that the finish will be perfect.  This one is not perfect but close to it.  I was very pleased and feel this is one of my best car models.  It is by no means out of the box (oob).  It has many added photo-etched details, hand built details, and many types of wire and hoses.
